In 2010 I graduated from the MA in Creative Writing at UEA, where I recieved the Malcolm Bradbury Scholarship. Since then I’ve worked as a professional writer of fiction and non-fiction. The Boy Who Went Magic was published by Chicken House Books in 2017.
Since 2016 I have taught creative writing at the the University of York and as part of York Learning. Further back, I spent a year as an English language tutor in Seoul, where I discovered most of my favourite foods.
I also work as a professional chocolate taster, but I tend to keep that under my hat if I want people to talk about writing.
